North Allegheny School Board Elections

Please vote for me on May 21, 2013 to help us control our School Taxes. This is the 4th year in a row that the School Board is raising our School Taxes.
On top of the tax money, the School Board keeps on borrowing more and more to spend on buildings, infrastructure and the like. The debt is currently at $125 Million at NA and it is going up.
School Board's solution to Budget problems is to close Peebles Elementary School, a permanent damage to NA Education for a temporary problem of balancing this year's budget. At this rate, what School Building will the Board close next year to balance next year's budget???
School spending has gone up by almost $50 Million in the last 12 years. So we are not skimping on the Education Expense but the current Board cannot balance the budget now or for years into the future. The per pupil expense exceeds $16,200 according to the Preliminary Budget passed unanimously by the School Board in Feb, 2013.
We need to change the School Board and bring people in who will control spending, improve budgeting and STOP INCREASING SCHOOL TAXES EVERY YEAR.
