North Allegheny School District

I am a candidate for North Allegheny School Board. There are 3 Incumbents, who are running for election again and there are 3 other new candidates.

My goal is to delve into ever increasing taxation by North Allegheny School District. After increasing School Taxes for 3 years in a row, the School Board is looking at a hefty tax increase in this year's Budget also. Currently the projected increase in taxes is 1.2493 mils or about 8% increase in NA School Taxes, according to the Preliminary Budget passed last month. The School District is projecting increasing taxes every year for the foreseeable future, according to an email I received from NA School District. I am running for School Board to see if I can help other like minded School Board Members to stop these ever increasing NA School Property Taxes.
