Repeal Local Service Tax (LST)

I am publicly announcing my opposition to the Local Service Tax (LST) again. We have to repeal this most regressive tax.
The Borough will spend more money in collecting this tax than the amount of tax collected. In other words, the Borough will loose money by imposing this tax on the residents.

I had projected no more than 800 people working in the Borough will pay this tax (vs. 1300 tax payers projected by Borough Manager, Mr. Rocca). It appears that even the 800 number was too optimistic.

I will wait till later in the summer to officially propose a repeal of this unnecessary and unwanted tax at the end of this year.
